Dont forget japan
Re: WW2 Units: Infantry
Hey, I think the Soviet army should be in a separate faction, since at the beginning of the war they fought the Allies.
And don't forget Japan.
And don't forget Japan.
Thanks!

Re: WW2 Units: Infantry
Ok, I regrouped and added japan . Now the images!
Should I outline them with a black stroke like the most AoS units are?
If anyone likes he can create a similar thread per example for the light tank and make some grphics too, maybe patdroid or COOLguy?

Re: WW2 Units: Infantry
Man, you're awesome.
As far as outline or no, I really don't know. I see the benefit of both. I also do not know Daniel's feelings on this.
So maybe Daniel will decide, or there will be a vote. If there is a vote, let's put it in a different section of the forum (like 'Other').

Re: WW2 Units: Infantry
thanks for the units!
suggestions:
- they should be a little smaller/shorter (maybe a little thicker too) i suggest the unit sizes in AOS like the archer and so on.
- and they will need the black border/contour around them because this way they will not look good on any terrain.
practically i suggest getting some units from AOS and modifying them to WW2 soldiers.
but thanks for helping in images!

Daniel: I quoted your post here: viewtopic.php?f=58&t=869&p=4686#p4686 . That way we have a written criterion of sorts for unit designs.
dust-n-steel: I discovered you can attach only three attachments to a post. So you may have to have more posts for different factions.

Hi
And now what i meant with Countrycolors!
In the WW2 Version will be the most different units,
if have a programm with that i can change colors
easely(Real World Cursor Editor)
That mean we can use one image , where i change country
colors for all nations (Here the basic soldier-this is a unit
that is in each nation nearly the same, if notn we can use them while
developing and later add better icons)

Re: WW2 Units: Infantry
The German AT is also really detailled, i like it .
Maybe 3-5 pixels smaller so there's some place at the top?

Re: WW2 Units: Infantry
Simple units are good - if they are easy to make. And also using the same image. But later I like the idea of having differences in nations.
Thanks!

Re: WW2 Units: Infantry
I like your older units too, though. Maybe they can be used later in the game; like when it's started.
Thanks!

Re: WW2 Units: Infantry
I like them too, especially the UK unit, but it's really better and faster when we modify this basic picture and draw enough details .

Re: WW2 Units: Infantry
Range should be 3, that're shooting units (like bowmen), no swordmen .

Re: WW2 Units: Infantry
All units here are ranged.
My idea is to male low range one turn.
If not you can shoot in a 4 player game with
Ranged units after 1 or two turns and you cant make small armys.
Also theres a maximum of units that can attack your
Unit in one turn(8) that you have a higher chance to hide atillery
Behind infantry and tanks and also you hve a higher chance to
Survive against great armys(for campaigns)
