We have the AOS cannon which is from mideival I think? For me it looks like a naval or fort cannon though.

Well if you go with these images you will have to commit to them, no AoS units fit this style at all, so all images will have to be remade. Guess you are straying further and further away from AoS :o

Well i don't think ill be making any more images as my style just doesn't fit with Drejade's.

Can i request that you don't use my images? It would look terrible in game :D

Good luck with development :)

Aw, this already down one image maker. I'm just really trying to make some images for the game.

If I'm the only one making them, this would be impossible. After all, I'm only editing AOS units. LOL

I'm bad at imagining u see so I have to combine everything just to make one image.

Anyway here an English Galleass

Update: Fix some spots
Also: I'm a beginner at this so pls don't take me as a good image maker.

Dont get me wrong, most of your images look good, its just i dont see these two different styles working in the same game :D and i dont think i can make myself change the way i make images, so ill just stick with AoS

Imagine these two units that i will attach being in the same game. They both look good but dont work together. I use more of an AoS style while you use a more 'realistic' style.

LOL, I cant say but I'm flattered by the "more realistic" part. I just really maintained the one pixel instead of just making it 2x2 px. As you know when you resize the image.

I think though they're just as good just that, the black outline stick too much. What I mean is the outline is too thick.

But thats the thing :D i love the look of the black outline and im not going to change using it, so ill stick with AoS
I just like the more pixelated look it has

actually this could be the best order of events
1. collecting the starting unit ideas eg. 30 units (if there are multiple nations than 30 for each)
2. making image assets for all
3. deciding the stas
(when all ready)
4. making AOG modding work on your side (i sent you email about it already, your current status is: you need to make an AOG account and send me the username)
5. puttin in all units one-by-one and trying in modded mode.

so the key point: do not make any jsons without trying them in modded mode. if you make more than 1 json and put all in a moded version you will never fix the upcoming millions of problems. so only on-eby-one json by json each tested before putting in next.

my 5 cents.

I have posted a list of units, many times...
If we do the basics before others, we will have a beta version sooner
Now, about sprites, i like boths styles. I would be lying if i said i dont like pixelated style actually, i really love it. It really goes with the age of games feelings. It doesnt need to be reallistic. Dont get the wrong idea, i like them.
@Maxbirycov2004 , u know how to implement factions?
I will be sending a list of them with some details
@Stratego , could u make an apparted topic? Now, its hard to organize all details
We are already planning the game design... :?

i think these are nice images!
my 5cents: units look much better if we make them like you made ships - little 3D ish, so looking from a little side and above.

i saw here nice images but from totally sideview, over a terrain will look like they are laying on ground - in all variants we try to modify images (we have many 2d images in AOF/AOS) to be more 3Dish.
i suggest that at the start in this variant.

in this post we tried to see how these could look:
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=6748&p=91335&hilit=3dish#p90442

i think it is also harder to draw this way - especially human and animal units (buildings and mechannical units are easier imho) so consider my post only a suggestion, you should decide which way to go.

I guess, but it would be really hard to rearrange it, it's not entering my imagination at all. LOL.

But I'll try I guess
