I used the same progression used for the human archer (+4hp +1 attack, +1 range) and the one for armore used for orcs (+1/+1)

Restyle for the basic unit

To avoid an excess of gems and considering it is a basic unit i would make the goblin archer a default unit

I don't think the damage should be high considering that the Human Archer should be better.

base damage is 6, o it is just raised by 1 per level. Remember that a human archer is a perfectly viable unit from the start of the game while the goblin archer will become useful after 8 turns at least (i believe that this isn't a minor issue)

To be honest i've already made a building here but i rememberd that daniel wasn't very keen about that, so in alternative it would go to TC

And now the game is in a more advanced state. Elves will need better melee and orcs more ranged options. It seems fair.

Mayby it sounds stupid but best way to fight with elves archers are ranged. We can attack them from distance so we dont have to fight with etns.

alexander - the images are really good, btw, we need ranged for orcs and melee for elves.

i've found some units:
-Wolf Rider Archer
-Spider Rider Archer
-Night Goblin Archer (Assassin Ranger)
-Savage Orc Archer (Longbow)
-Chariot Goblin Archer

yes, and at least we need some way to make sure that they are a viable choice, at least on the long run

But it is their damage... they start from 6, 1st upgrade 7, 2nd upgrade 8

human archers also have smiths techs and reach 8 range and 8 damage, so they are still far superior
