Nekromolths

Post by SpaceReavin719 »

The Nekromolths are an undead race which were risen for whatever task their master assigned, which was obviously war. They are weak when it comes to melee, but use ranged weapons normally. Since they are undead, they are more resistant to any mind-related attacks or actions against them. One special and noticeable feature about is their Reanimation ability, which when they die and leave a corpse, the controlling player can press the Animation ability button, and have a 30% chance to be reanimationed with half their health left, or at least a quarter of it.

Basic Infantry, abilities, and structures:

Bone barrack:
A simple barrack made out of bones, training undead warriors. Creepy!

Hp: 32/32
Structure

Nekroman gunner:
A simple undead soldier armed with a rapid laser SMG. Animated by dark energy and technology alike, these soldiers were made to be used in quantities. Since they're all bone, they walk awkwardly resulting in a penalty in rugged and rough terrain.

Hp: 16/16
AP(Attack power): 12(energy damage)
Range: 1
Speed:3
Sight:3
Cost:3

SP(Special abilities):

Reanimation(instant, 1 time use on each unit selected, cooldown of 3, 30% chance)

Reanimated the selected body, pulling its bones and body back together again. Of course since they were literally shattered to pieces, their health and armor is slightly but permanently damaged.
Effect on target:(-3 to HP, -2 Armor, -2 piercing armor)

Nekro legionner:

A noticeablely larger and more armored Nekromolth. This one wields a quarterstaff, and also carries a banner on its back that represents the Nekromolth legion. Because of either its leadership or respect, other Nekromolths seem to fight better and stronger near it as if they were inspired.

HP: 32/32
AP: 10(melee damage)
Range: 1
Speed: 4
Sight: 3
Action/turn: 2/2

SP:

Reanimation:

Reanimated the selected body, pulling its bones and body back together again. Of course since they were literally shattered to pieces, their health and armor is slightly but permanently damaged.
Effect on target:(-3 to HP, -2 Armor, -2 piercing armor)

Inspiring Aura(passive)

Inspires friendly units within a close range, noticeably increasing their speed and damage while inside the aura.
(+2 AP, +1 speed.)

Manifester

A special Nekromolth whose learned horrific yet powerful abilities and powers. Other beings(besides your friendly units) that find themselves too close to the Manifester will suddenly be stricken with terrible fear, sometimes losing all control of movement.
Cost: 4
HP: 42/42
AP: 7(melee damage)
Range: 1
Speed: 2
Sight: 3
SP:

Fists of Fury
Instant, cooldown 5.)

Fists from what is guessed to be the underworld rise up from the ground, attacking the target and stunning them for a moment. They're multiple fist that rise up from the ground depending on how far the attack was, meaning any other unit that was unlucky enough to be somewhere where the fist rise will be attacked as well. This attack can only go diagonal or horizontally.

Fearful Aura(passive):

A black and eerie aura of energy and clouds which circle around the caster. Any unfortunate unit to be caught within the aura will be stricken with fear which lasts until they are out of the aura. The caster/unit along with any other friendly units aren't affected by this aura.

Risen worker

A body which has not fully rotten away to the bone, which is not between a mix of zombie and skeleton. These types are instead used for work rather than combat, and are the lowest in Nekromolth society.
(Can build, construction unit)
HP: 11/11

Cost:2
AP:2
Range:1
Sight: 3
Action/turn: 1

I will add more units and abilities and buildings in other posts, but this is one of my unit concepts that I think would fit into the game.

I do not think that they will fit into the space theme. At most it can be a neutral funny race, it seems to me. Something like that you can offer AoA.
