75 mm Modele 1897 Artillery version IMPLEMENTED
Images are attached below:
France - just the artillery version
US - split trail and rubber tire (based on the wiki)
Why does the US need the 75mm? For tech I?

@Jasondunkel
Why not just increase its range to 2 and have infantry bonus. It is a dual purpose gun and not a separate gun. Same for the Zis-3 for the russia, It is also dual purpose gun. But it does not have infantry bonus yet.

Re: 75 mm Modele 1897 Artillery version
That is what I proposed to the dev
Because I am really not sure that a French 75 mm like this existed in real life.
Otherwise it seems strange a bit strange with the rear foot in less.

Re: 75 mm Modele 1897 Artillery version
I tried to join the picture of the version of the gun 75 mm model 1897 modified 1938 but not sure it worked.

So both of the image I attached needs a fix for accuracy and should be based on your attached image? Do you have other source for it? I am currently clueless of how it should look like.

@Vinz91
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ ... _front.jpg it is more the artillery version
Re: 75 mm Modele 1897 Artillery version
The one you shared is the field gun used against infantry, the angle of the two drawings in this channel is to high. The 75 mm was almost never able to shoot with curve, it shoot with almost straight line.

Re: 75 mm Modele 1897 Artillery version
Okay so the overall shape of the gun is correct?? But the angle of the barrel is just too high, and that needs the edit.
Re: 75 mm Modele 1897 Artillery version
Maybe the gun could be bigger with more details. Indeed the angle is to elevated. You can also add a slightly longer barrel with those two teeth going down.
Re: 75 mm Modele 1897 Artillery version
I have done that very quickly

I mean only the last one
Re: 75 mm Modele 1897 Artillery version
In my opinion, this one should be the field gun against infantry and it is already in game but not with the good range and functions.

Re: 75 mm Modele 1897 Artillery version
And this one should be the anti-tank version since it is the modified 1938 with caoutchouc well and a longer barrel.

Re: 75 mm Modele 1897 Artillery version
Looks great! But dont they need to be angled upward a little bit? Because that is how artillery image is in game. Or would it ruin the image? I will do the edit for the US 75mm

If you absolutely want a mountain version for the 75 here a picture French from an artillery museum.
For me it is impossible to make a slight inclination with pixly and remaining proper. So this is the best I can. For the US version of this gun I do not know what they did from it after they received all those 75 during ww1.

Re: 75 mm Modele 1897 Artillery version
It is good well done but the rear of the gun should follow the trend behind the protective plate. I am not sure if you understood.
Re: 75 mm Modele 1897 Artillery version
And the version you should used is the other, the one you used is the one that should be the anti-tank version.

Re: 75 mm Modele 1897 Artillery version
Here is the re-image for the US m1897.
It was the m1897 that is mounted on M2 carriage. It was part of the us artillery modernization. But only 200 were converted by 1939, it was a slow process. I am not sure if the AT and the field gun looks different, but everything a little looks like the same, only the wheels was different. So I only based on the wiki image.

Re: 75 mm Modele 1897 Artillery version
Normally at and field gun are exactly the same but it seems that for the development of the game the two should be separated. I proposed to do something like the 88 mm gun with a conversion into howitzer and at gun but I think nobody understood what I proposed.
For you drawing, I don't know the US version but maybe the two teeth the entry of the gun can be more visible, this is the same for the stratego version I think. But it is very well done and what I am telling is detail.

Re: 75 mm Modele 1897 Artillery version
Not really a conversation into howitzer but more like a field gun against infantry.
