Badger — ARCHIVED
Badger — ARCHIVED
Just another easy producable unit for dwarves.
Producable in TC and barracks
( This is my idea solely from my mind )
Badger
Cost 3
Hp 25
Atk 12
Spd 3 ( mountain walk 1 )
Sight 5
Action 1
Spell R 20%
Bonus: 50% Walls 100% skeletons
( bonus to skeletons because of the weapon if it gets a hammer )
1.These don't fit elves
Badgers live in setts - underground burrowswhich they dig with their powerful, long claws. They are really sociable and playful and enjoy living together in family groups. There may be around six badgers in each territory. They build their setts within their territory.
In mine sight for a fantasy I want to say they are neighbors to dwarves underground ( like trade partners )
Also wanna say they are advance like dwarves considering they live underground.
Badgers are capable of using armor and weapons so if they wanted they could also live in or under the mountains.
3. Dwarves yes mainly live under mountains but they also live on top of mountains and forest near mountains.
4. Me personally I wanna say they have a greed for gems/Jules same way dwarfs have a greed for gold
( considering I made it up I see why not )
Note this is a simple unit not a whole race I'm suggesting

Re: Badger
I like the idea, but I don't see why it would be trainable for the dwarves. It doesn't really fit their aesthetic at all. If anything it would fit the elven faction more. Elves are the ones in tune with nature and wildlife, so it would make more sense that they have Badgers to fight with them
Re: Badger
No it doesn't
Elves don't live underground, one and two given how elves act they would see badgers as peasants or low class for they're looks and the fact they live underground.
In just about all fantasies elves are pretty stuck up and maintain order with ranks and such.

?
Was this already a thing in another game?
If so, so much for originality but my concept of them with dwarves doesn't change

Re: Badger
Well, it was mentioned by Tom Bombidel in Lotr's in one of his tales to the hobbits. It wasn't in any game that I know of but the chances aren't slim.

Re: Badger
I don't know if you've noticed, but the elves in the game aren't at all what you're describing
Re: Badger
Umm that's how elves are typically are in most to all fantasy games.
And yes we already are making Lore for them.

Wait, we're getting race Lores? Are those going to be put in game?
Looks like Age of Fantasy has a history topic coming in.

Thy gave me a sword to pierce a lie,
Serrated edge for the deamon inside
A moment I'm torn between two tides,
But all I need, I bear inside
