in dev version there is an experimental feature that all moving units (or in multiselected units) by default you can place waypoint if u click out of unit distance (or in multiselect units mode)
please give me feedback how to use it - little weird at first but i hope there will be less micromanagement as many units get wapoints if u play.

P1000 Ratte in a movable version.
i tried to turn it as battleships are turned to be able to use in 1x1 controlled tile size (with little overlap)
please check in game tell me if it looks good or bad.
also if it is balanced to be built in 14 turns.

Tbh, it looks like it should take up 2 tiles, and the same could be said for cruisers or larger that could fit on ingame rivers.

yeah but sadly the engine handles not so nice the 2x2 unit sizes (eg in movement and in garrisoning into other buildings/units)
but we can make tests if u think we should try - i can give movement temprarily to the old 2x2 ratte (that is already in game)
