In this forum I post the changes on the DEVELOPER version of the game.
These versions are (at the time i post them) not yet published to google play, only registered testers can download it and test it before publishing.

I have created the first 64px version of the game, with the WW2 alternate to see how it goes on 64px.
it is hot, and full of bugs but currently u can design a map with the few tiles we have, and try how ships and tanks will work in 64 px.

a few more units in game to test the helicopoter view stuff.
also a map by with you can play multiplaer game.

In a random game since 1 of 6 human teams lost.
The game says each turn i end that i lost a game ...or whenever i loose or kill a
Unit the game stops and rze u lost the game dialog opens.

i dont understand.

please try describing the error again. (i can play random maps against AI)

I made a random game.
I set:
6 Teams, all human player,
the test map,
All upgrades activated,
All technologys,
Revealed,

No teams....


After 8 Rounds i killed the yellow team.
Then i end my turn with the player i played to kill yellow.
The Message ' You lost the game' opened.
I pressed ok, started random game map again,
Red teams turn (player1...named patroid).
I killed a unit. The Message 'You lost the game' opened.
I oressed again 'Ok'. I opened the game again.
Player Red again. I killed NO unit. Pressed 'Next Turn'
Thr Message ' You lost the game' opened.


I created a 2. Game....
Same procedure.
After a team(Human) lost, the message ever comes...so u cant continue to play

i believe it is not related to AOW, if so please post it into AOS as a bug report.

It IS game related i did same in aos and aof now...and in both games it did not happend.

Whaarggggg seems like i cant write i sooo often type wrong on my phone-keyboard. ..im sorry for that

as i assumed.
please post it as an issue on AOS (we collect "engine" problems there)

btw: it is weird playing more than 2 player hotseat mode :)

Am I understand well? every tile has 64x64 pixels?

yes, if the 64px testing goes fine than any of the game variants can be 64px based.

Hi all!

We (With CoolGuy) started to balance the US units, please join the balance testing!

how: via multiplayer games, we play -> we can see which unit type is out of balance or not.

tell me if you are interested in the first basic balance testing of AGE OF WORLD WAR!

Things that are bad:

1. Ships can be built on land.

2. Almost all units with guns have 1 range.

3. The Sherman is superior to the other tank in almost every way.

4. No buildings, defenses, or way to build.

5. Only infantry can take town centers.

These are just the first 5 big things to fix/update. I think we are very far from the balancing stage.

1. Ships can be built on land.
-> yes, will be fixed, no need for balancing - simply dont build ships on only terrain TCs

2. Almost all units with guns have 1 range.
-> this is intentional, othervise all units would be ranged that would not be good (we came to this conclusion earlier)

3. The Sherman is superior to the other tank in almost every way.
-> I must disagree, the the Hellcat has extra bonus against sherman, sherman represent light tank class in the balancing, and hellcat is an anti-tank tank. please re-check.

4. No buildings, defenses, or way to build.
-> yes, we want to balance these first basic unit types against each other and make the details like buildings/techs later. (however some AA structure - like a tower - was already mentioned in last testplay we played, and a unit that can build the "tower")

5. Only infantry can take town centers.
->YES! intentional again, otherwise who would build any infantry ever :) and IRL explanation: only a squad of soldiers can investigate all buildings in a town, a tank or an airplane can not, not even a machine gunner.

These are just the first 5 big things to fix/update. I think we are very far from the balancing stage.
-> No,
- the 1. and 4. are not balancing questions, the others are balancing that i tried to answer above,
- we are definitely need to balance these few units (maybe we can bring in a few more - eg. a heavy tank, just drop suggestions)
- so please join to the multiplayer game i have created and help testing/balancing the existing units!

also minor changes to stat of sherman (gets stronger since it moved to medium tank category) and AT rifleman got minor bonus against medium tanks
