Harpoon ship

Basically a normal ranged (with sightly more range) ship thats good against living water units


Harpoon ship:
Requirements: ballistics ( maybe)
Made at docks and tcs
Cost:5-6
Hp:105
Attack: 21
Range:6
Min:2
Armor:2
Pierce:4
Speed:3
Sight:7
Action:1/1
Heal rate:6
Mental resistance: 20%
Movement uses action
Bonus:
+16 against [alive] [water]
+28 against [beast][alive][water]
Description: a war ship that was redesign with a giant ballista that shoot's out Harpoons to combat sea creatures.


Reinforce Harpoon ship:
Requirements: metal plating 1, range weapon 1, improve sailing 1, improve sail 1, extra room 1, improve engineering 1.

Attack:24
Range:7
Min:2
Armor:2
Pierce:4
Speed:3
Sight:8
Action:1/1
Heal rate: 9
Mental resistance: 20%
Movement uses action
Bonus:
+18 against [alive][water]
+30 against [beast][alive][water]
Description: an improve harpoon ship with a ballista with better precision and better operators, considered a treat to most sea creatures.


Advance harpoon ship:
Requirements: metal plating 2, range weapon 2, improve sailing 2, improve sail 2, extra room 2, improve engineering 2.

Health rate:12

Description:
A bane to anything that lives in the sea, it can accurately shoot down any sea creature that dares to be anywhere near it's range.
A master of puppetry and manipulation, working from the shadows.

1 thing that i do not approve here is such massive range and bonuses it has.
Also i must remind that we will get later, when someone will make images, a ballista ship for humans. After that we will see if this one is needed and what stats must it have.

I think range should be toned to merblin harpoonist levels, add either a standard anti ship, or anti merfolk bonus(50% or 200%,but cant be build in tcs, and bad building rate then)

We will see.
I do not agree though with anti-specific race bonuses though for now (like anti-merlocks, anti-warfell or anti-kobolds, exceptions are: vampires vs werewolves, fire vs trolls and hydras; if why unit has such specific bonus is explained than it may be added alas).

Bonuses definitely must be changed though, right now they are too good. Also another problem is that this ship is literally useless against undeads.

Good point, theres already plenty anti units as it is, too many, and design will plummet

Btw warship also useless against undeads, destroyer even more so, entire human Fleet is pretty useless against ud by default

On their own yes.
But they can carry foot non-giant units.

Including priests with exorcism for example.

Well, priests cant exorcise ships, so propably best bet is fire archers and mages
