Thanks. I'm finished with the basic unicorn riders so I might either pass to base eagle riders or glade heavy unicorn riders.

Yeah, I think that basic units will provide a higher benefit.

Remember how you said glades should have sea mounts too?

I found something.
It's a Akhlut, it's a mythological creature that is a cross between an Orca and a wolf.

The concept is nice, though I would prefer something that is an exclusive water mount. That looks more like a land unit.

It would work as both, it just could be slower on land. This way a player doesn't have to build a glade wardens headquarters near water to utilize these. Its generally faster in water anyway, being that that's what its adapted to.

The fact is that at this point it is just better to make the flying one. Also the mounts would still be available at great trees and nature temples.

In case of sentry and guardian, can you make the bow and the shield over the peryton wings? Or maybe try changing the stance (maybe make the guardian use the right hand for the weapon and the off hand for the shield and the sentry could grip its bow like other mounted archers do.

I might try putting the shield in a similar position as the imperial gryphon rider, as for the archer I'll try it over the wing first.

I just shrunk the shield for the Guardian so it looks better, for the archer I think this might look better as the other attempt with the bow being straighter I didn't like as much.

I'd prefer if the shield would look the same though. Can you show me that? Or at least a lower degree of reduction.

I believe that the shield should be behind the wing, since the peryon theoretically flies and the shield above the wing will interfere with it. I think you just need to tilt the shield parallel to the wing

Just a thought, @Alexander82 what if we used the base races unicorns for the glade's, but just have it so they add the barding thing on when they mount them. While the other 2 would come with the glade's.

They will just use an additional tech (those are more costly units after all and you can already recruit all of them in their mounted version). I will call the tech something like "heavy unicorns" or "harnessed unicorns".
