Extra information:this giant cannon with more than 2m length is one of the biggest cannon in SEA was inventedto protect Patani sultanate from invasion of Thailand so this cannon is designed not for siege but rather to deal with siege machines or elephants

An important detail is that it's from 17th century... I don't think that is included in the timeline of AOS.duke levis wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 1:15 am Extra information:this giant cannon with more than 2m length is one of the biggest cannon in SEA was inventedto protect Patani sultanate from invasion of Thailand so this cannon is designed not for siege but rather to deal with siege machines or elephants

You're right but AOS also include unit from ancient time so I think it also in this timeline

We are avoiding making into the game unique historical things/personas.
Because using the name would require the unit to be legendary (only one in game), but it still requires the same (or greater) amount of effort as if bringing new unit.
So I wouldn't bring Phaya Tani, but rather cannon of similar size and technique of creation.
According to Wikipedia Phaya Tani is brass casted 2.7m cannon.
Bronze casting (proper one, not early ones based on bell foundry techniques) was used as soon as later half of 15th century, so definitely in AoS timeline.
Brass is probably even easier as its melting point is a little lower and even cold one has greater malleability.
But the size indicates a cannon.
Normal, regular full cannon.
So something that is already in the game as cannoneer unit.
