Thanks for noticing.
Fixed in the assets.

I wonder if it should be removed from TC though.

I wonder if it should be removed from TC though.
Tough call - on the one hand, it's stats really are brilliant (essentially Master Skirmisher with extra hp and dbl attack), on the other hand, flavourwise it is a great representation of the hit and run tactics synonymous with the Celts - a load of these guys combined with the hard hitting nature of the Celt's mêlée units would really give a distinctive characteristic to a Celtic play...

What's your opinion on double locks for TC units, eg if Kern required both Roundhouse and archery range?

I've recently played a fair bit with Celts, Japanese, Primitive and Roman, and I do find it to be quite a juggling act to field a balanced army with the first three...you could argue that's how it should be, a trade off for the faction's respective strengths. Alternatively you could say perhaps the system should be a bit less limiting and not constantly require forward planning several turns in advance - I'm undecided on this atm, I need a bit more time assessing the effects of the (very welcome) buffers rework, but I am leaning towards wanting a bit more freedom.

One thing I have noticed is that faction units available in TC are skewed towards foot mêlée - perhaps there could be more variety in category to allow some more leeway, eg should every faction have access to polearm (req faction building) from TC? Or cheap missile?

So from my above examples (just for the sake of debate)
Celts - is Kern too good for TC? Maybe. But if removed, perhaps sub back in the underused gaelic warrior. Spearman too?
Japanese - (mentioned possibility of Daimyo in TC roster) - only ninja or samurai available, one of the most versatile and one of the pound-for-pound best foot units. Possibly swap one out to respective factory in exchange for nodachi and Yari Ashigaru? As with Celts, no cheap missile units, only effective specialists, so no changes there.
Prim - (awaiting chieftain unit) strong argument to add in the archer and one of swordsman or maceman.
Roman - probably the easiest to play atm given the necessity of many legionaries and the availability of praetorians and Centurions from TC too. Allow velites?
I also play an RTS game called Life 8-)
And I also like drinking beer! :D
