New Structure: Academy

It's a new idea about a building!
I think that it's good if you can have a building that can train all the upgraded units that you have (broadswordman, heavy catapult, and many other).
Can't carry units, and not produce any unit (like the blacksmith and the advance center).
Have a size of 2x2
Then, the other stats is the same as other factories (as barracks, stables, and so on) [sorry that I not write it, my app doesn't let me play any map, I already send the email]

Nice idea but i think it should have more health than the other factories because the size of this building is 2×2.

I like it and agree about more health for it, but think it should be able to hold up to 2 or 3 units. Should it have a long build time 8 to 10 maybe?

Cool! I like the stats. It could use a little pierce armor, though.

The academy needs some armor and pierce armor like other buildings but the rest of the stats are perfect.

So would the purpose of building an Academy would be the bypass the unit upgrade tech in a unit producing building?
Anything is feasible with enough money and power.

How about an Academy where once a unit producing building is made (stable, archery, barrack), those type of units can be made in the Academy. Upgrade units can only be produced in the Academy once the upgrade has occurred in the unit type structure. For instance, if the crossbow men upgrade is done in archery building, crossbow men can be made in both Academy and archery range.
Anything is feasible with enough money and power.

So, in a few words, the academy it's a factory where you can only build the upgraded units of any kind and specific techs that give bonus to these units.

For example it might allow the research for techs like +1 speed for man at arms, +1 range for crossbowman, +1 armor for heavy knight and so on?
