Cologne Fort

Post by Matheus Nascimento »

When America was discovered and started to be colonized by European powers, its natural wealth has led to a large trade, mainly in central america, south america and the caribbean.
For being very rich and distant from Europe, many criminals, the famous pirates, appeared and also, there was a risk that ports and cities would be dominated by rival nations that wanted to have more colonies.
To defend their territories they created the forts, with houses inside for the soldiers, the outer walls were large and some formed a star, designed to withstand cannon fire from enemy ships they were armed with powerful cannons.
Most of them were built on the coast.

Sorry, i don't know how to choke an image.

actually i was thinking that some kind of ship could become a rough land fortification...remindsme to "Fuerte Navidad" the fort built by colombus expedition made of the parts of the nao "santa maria".
so my idea could be

NAO
cost 9
hp 130
attack 10
range 7
armour 3/8
speed 4
actions turn 2

ability: build fort
this ship is sacrificed and deploy a building in first construction stage (only 1 hp)
this fort can mend itself so u can build it without any worker close

COLOGNE FORT
hp 100
attack 15
range 8
miss*speed 10%
armour 2/6
sight 7
actions 2
mend rate 10
mending bonus 1
mending bonus construct 1.5
mend range 0

NOTES:
1. nao has similar stats as carrack
2. nao doesnt have cannon shot ability
3. wood fort attack is based in a weaker cannoneer
4. dunno if its even possible jeje
