COG - Crusader ship IMPLEMENTED
COG - Crusader ship IMPLEMENTED
Being the father of the carrack, the Cog did not have any gunpowder weapons. These ships were used to transport the crusaders on the first crusade but also were used as a fighting ships (Totally mele). I personally think this ship should have 1 garrison space. Thanks!
A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

Re: COG - Crusader ship
I think the "upgraded transport" and being a ship of a certain size with a single mast should be renamed to "cog"

@Stratego (dev) ,
Why not make first transport Cog
And second "Holk" which is actually an upgrade to the Cog...

Wikipedia:
A hulk is a ship that is afloat, but incapable of going to sea. Although sometimes used to describe a ship that has been launched but not completed

Okay, so I read the page in its entirety, and it's said to be the predecessor of the caravel which could be used as a superior warship than a cog dye to it's greater size and maneuverability. How about making holk the base unit of the upgrade caravel which will both have one carry capacity, more speed, more cost, and decent attack stats?

Still, just the same as caravel - it was not mainly a warship. It could be used for war. The same goes for cog.Those two were cargo ships thus transport fits nicely.
By the way I made json and image for caravel as expiration ship (Hardeep idea). It has poor fighting capabilities. 1 cavalry/foot carry + a lot ttle self repair.

Re: COG - Crusader ship IMPLEMENTED
So should the transports be replaced by cog(basic), hulk(capacity) and caravel(speed and self defense)?
