Nordic unit : Viking

A generic viking.
desc- a famous and brutal warrior of the viking era..Fights better at the sea.
Trained at : Nordic hall
Cost: 2
Hitpoints: 20
Attack: 8
Speed: 3
Armor: 0/1
Sight: 4
Mental resist: 25%
Bonuses:
120% Ships (except for transport ships)
200% Transport ships
100% Buildings
150% Fortifications
450% Mega Buildings

They are best used when on viking longships to help beat ships easily especially transportation ships.and can act as a cheap melee defensive unit on special occations.

This is much stronger than swordman

Then that'd be underpowered imo.
And their production is already limited so I think its a no to nerf.

Attack is ok for me i mean the armor, 1/1 is a lot for a 2 cost unit

We have a vikiing Berserk but no ordinary Viking? Then why not have one.

I think this stats would make Swordsman unit obsolete. It is only trained at Nordic Hall, yes but it's stats are far too superior than swordsman's.

Suggestion: Maybe make this unit, Viking not receive Blacksmith Upgrades as a con?
And maybe make Viking Ship have an aura range of 0, affecting only units inside it. All nordic units or Viking units inside Viking ship will have +2 attack and +1 speed (+1 speed so when they get near to land, norse units would be represented as fast raiding or something).

A i got a better idea. Boost the att a bit more and give .60 heal bonus.

Like att 10,14, 16

And reduced speed.

This will match the Vikings' brute strength and will cost for speed and heal.

Reduce the speed of Vikings? Lightly armoured warriors known to carry out lightning raids :lol: I'm not sure about that one chief.

Agreed.

I quite like North's suggestion more but, viking ships are expensive

Yeah.. That's one thing. Viking Ships are too expensive for their usage.

I'd rather spend more turns on a galleon than a viking ship.

Wat about changing cost of viking ships to 4 turns?
