Teutonic Knight Upgrade IMPLEMENTED

Teutonic Knight is weak for a unit that can only be produced at Castles and Monasteries. Maybe it should have an upgrade that adds more hitpoints, power and armor.
Original stats and upgrade:
Research Time: 5
Researched at: Castles and Monasteries.
Teutonic Knight --> Veteran Teutonic Knight
Cost: 3
Hitpoints: 22 --> 24
Power: 12 --> 13
Armor: 3/2 --> 4/3
Speed: 3
Sight: 4
Ability Possibility: 20%
Ability Range: 1
Active Abilities:
Convert Unit
Dismiss Propaganda
Promote Loyalty
Mental Resistance: 50%
Heal Bonus: 1.0
Damage Bonuses:
100% Structures, Siege machine, Ships.
700% Mega Buildings.
200% Fortifications, Armoured Siege Machines.

In total, upgrade adds:
+2 hitpoints
+1 power
+1/1 armor

Actually the image I posted could be the redesign for Teutonic Knight. He lacks shading and stuff.

I could easily edit it to make it look like an upgrade.

If the redesign is considered, then this will be the look of it's upgrade.

When I look at conversion chance I'm wondering if I didn't forget about this unit, when changing persuasion.
I'll have to find topics and changelog from around then.
If my hunch is correct, his regular, non-upgraded chance would go up ( to 35% at max).

As for upgrade itself - I wonder if it shouldn't follow the same rule as other monastic orders - one upgrade for all (komtur should be unaffected). But it would have to be exclusive to monastery (maybe basic training too).
If chance would be updated, then in exchange of increase on that upgrade could get additional point of regular armor.

One upgrade for all. Interesting. Once the new designed Teutonic Knights made by Squirrel get's in i can do some or all of the images.

Okay, i will remove the ability possibility add-on. I'll replace it with your suggestion- point of additional melee armor.

What About the redesign though.

I changed the veteran slightly, I mostly didn't like the sickly green colour of the cloak and helmet, also the shield shape was a bit weird. Other than that it's a great image.

I'm not sure the redesign for the teuton is necessary, maybe just give him some shading. But I guess Endru must decide.

I based most of the looks from Age of Empires Elite Teutonic Knight.
The Green Cape and the Helmet Decorations is just taken from another Variant of Teutonic Knight From Google.

For shield, i just blindly modified the sides. Made it look bigger.

I am only comparing graphics on pc.
So it'll have to wait for now.

But I believe only slight polishing is all that's needed.
I'll compare it and if the changes are too much - image will go as skin.

Btw. For upgrade image I'd get something without horns and horned one would be in skins - is that OK?

I think it needs to have golden outlines to represent being an elite unit.
It also adds to the decoration. I suggest to add it.

I also edited a couple of things from Squirrel's image.

Very nice. But also try a version without horns as Endru prefers.

I would prefer he name "devoted teutonic knight" make more sense to unit.
I swore to protect and lead a great order that seeks enlightenment, I was chosen by the great star and I will pour out his fury against anyone who declares himself an enemy!
