Dagger-Axe Wielder (and upgrade)

Post by eafkcv »

Dagger-Axe Wielder
The dagger-axe was a polearm developed in Ancient China with a length of 9-18ft. One of the earliest weapons made entirely for war they lacked a point for thrusting and were used in the open where its long shaft could be swung.

😳
18 ft, thats just the same time awesome and impossible. The JI however was 7 ft.
Where did you get the reference .
If you meant the chineese pinyin of the L bend dagger spear, it was 1.3-1.8 m ie, 5.6 approximately.
And actually JI was derived from Japanese weapon Tsukubo, which i have already proposed http://www.ageofstrategy.net/viewtopic. ... bf4af38012

And now for the stats, it is surely superior to the normal spearman, but considering the lack of a third upgrade and barrack only production, it is somewhat balanced.

But i think it should be a lighter version of pikeman and also cheaper.
Cost 2 (research to JI 4)
Hp 13 15
Att 4 6
Range 2
Arm 0/0 0/2
Speed 3 4
MR 0% 30%
Bonuses
Mounted cavalry 100% - 250%
Elephant 350%
