I played a multiplayer game with a lot of gnoll units. one day it gave me the "your army has been destroyed" notifications. all other players have lost, too. One turn ago, I had several units and town centers, as well as the other players. all wiped out in a single turn?

I'm probably wrong but maybe you were kicked from the game?

it says that all players have lost. but maybe kicked, can't really rule it out. I got never kicked so I don't know how that looks like.
