Unknown machine bonuses for fortress ANSWERED
Tie fighter as of now needs more counters since it is a very powerful unit. I suggest giving fortresses a 100% Bonuses to unknown machines to counter the fun unit Tie fighter.

as far as i know ballista and/or catapult have bonus to tie fighter. at least that was some time ago.

I don't really know about those but I think tie fighter needs more counters I have only seen small amount of units with unknown machine counters so I thought of the fortress a long ranged structure with burning arrows and a ton of health would be a fine one. That way tie fighter can be kept at bay. Only 100% Would be fine. Or making fortresses have 100% Bonuses to flying for ornithopter too. Also tie fighter has enough counters as for me because for several reasons:
1. It can't be repaired. If it receives damage it keeps that no matter what. You can't heal/mend/repair it.
2. It is very costly. 10 turns! Ballista + wagon cost 8 turns to train in tc. Also it is trainable in tc only which also limits its effectiveness. Also this means that you can't train other units in tc during that time.
3. Ornithopters. 2 of them enough to kill tie fighter.
4. Tie fighter yes is very useful against units but that is all. Against any fortifications or castles it deals little to no damage.
