I don't really like the nerf on Axe thrower, or the weak Nordic Warlord that was supposed to be looking menacing or powerful.

But Bards and Viking Berserkers are strong units of the Norse faction.

But currently, Norse is kind of inferior when compared to the Romans or Celtics.

They are not getting many units recently. Only nerfs.

Raider archer is also looking pathetic. I don't think anyone uses it. Poor guy.

Yep and yep. Obviously, as some factions develop others get left behind. While I don't think factions should necessarily be balanced to each other I do think they should all be viable to play as. Couple of things that the Norse really need to keep pace (imo)
1 - a cheap, basic, multi-purpose unit like a Viking Swordsman (something like the Norse Swordsman of Denmark in Med 2).
2 - Anti - cav. Voulgier just is not worth 4 turns, and Svardstavier seems a poor upgrade for cost 5 . Possibly drop training cost to 3, remove Med Foot category, or increase bonus attack Vs cav.

As to the OP, yes, I agree but I think other solutions are needed too.
I also play an RTS game called Life 8-)

I want a 2 turn cheap anti-something unit for Norse.

That cheap Norse swordsman idea you got sounds like a fine idea.

And Voulgier isn't really good tbh. I think he deserves a buff.

Nords have too many anti building unit, 2 turn cheap axeman, 3 turn maceman and axe knight, 4 turn raider, berserk, 6 turn hascarl, i think they actually have enough anti building units to not require another, besides the axe thrower itself looks like a typical viking, it is their basic swordsman counterpart

May b we shouldnt focus on every race having same advantage, for example the nords may have expensive anti mounted and weak mounted units, but their macemen r one of the most utilised and useful units in the game, other race dont have a good anti heavy melee infantry, but rely on more expensive cavalry to deal with opp heavy infantry, the problem with nords is they dont have a specific racial benefit except viking ship as bard spell is universal
