For USMC, if marines are to be implemented in the game, they need to have their own planes and LST suggestion should be implemented. They had their own engineer corps and maintained their own bases and airfields. A listing of the aircraft they used is here. This thread was started as a response to another thread about allowing aircraft carriers to produce Marines. It is basically to show that Marines is not just infantry. TBH, I don't know much about the "marines" of other nations, but the US Marines had their own stuff. Their own bases, their own engineers, vehicles, etc. Adding USMC may disrupt balance, but if they are added, they need to be added all the way, as they were a real factor in the allied victory in the Pacific campaign.

This opens the door the the Imperial Japanese Navy Vs the Japanese Army (not sure the correct Acronym) to which I have no idea how all these sub fractions will exactly work and be implemented.

yes, the different nations often have their own naval units separate from the army.

as tnt said, the difference was particularly strong with the japanese.

but would actually only want to make the difference here in different building types and that they would then get slightly different uniforms or different designs when built there.

for something like that would of course be the basic requirement that someone makes images
