The famous M4 Sherman had a 50cal machine gun
It wasn't meant for group targets, but for the thin metal of airplanes

Many tanks have anti air capabilities with there roof mounted machine gun
It shouldn't be op but it should be more than one damage
It would help ward off bombers from attacking a lonely tank
