Age of Strategy WW2

Here talk about units and structures.
IMPORTANT!: Every unit type and structure type should be in a separate topic.
So if you have a new unit idea than open a new topic for it!

Age of Strategy WW2

Post by Rockfilip »

So Ive been thinking about a new version of the game, with the Wordl War 2 theme. Here are some things that could be in it:
Units:
Infantry-They act like swordmen and attack up close.
Anti-tank- Ranged units which are effective against tank and buildings
Sniper-A long range unit that attacks from afar, strong against infantry weak against armored units. Must stay still for a turn in order to attack.
Spec-ops- Fast infantry units capable of destroying building
Mechanic- The worker basicaly, that can repair armored units
Medic-Heals friendly infantry
Spy-A unit that looks like an enemy and has a chance to convert units or disable them. Can get discovered if converting fails.

Armored transport-Has no attack, but carries 4 infantry troops at once and fast. Also protects from other infantry.
Amphibious transport- Same as armored transport except it can move on water.
Tank- Cant be killed by normal infantry and higly efective against other tanks, buildings and infantry. But costly to build
Bomber- A flying unit that attacks ground targets and very effective againt everything. Must return to base after every attack to restock.
Air Fighter- Anti-air and infantry flying unit, must restock after every 2 attacks.
Transport plane- Can carry 6 infantry or 2 armored units and parachute them to desired location.
Artillery- A long range unit with massive attack but only attacks every 2 turns and weak defense.

Crusier- A naval range unit that can do a lot damage and also send planes, very expensive to build.
Submarine- A naval unit used to destroy other naval units, hidden untill it attacks.

Buildings:
Bunker: Acts as a tower.
Barbed wire: Acts as a wall, but units can walk through it and take damage.(or destroy it)
Barracks: Way to produce infantry
Factory:Produces armored, air, land and sea(if next to water) units
Towns: Your base of operations
Minefield: Hidden untill activated, kills one unit that steps on it
Trench:Gives 100% defense against infantry and tanks(not against airborn attacks or infantry though) when a infantry unit stand in it
Missile pad: A structure than can launch missiles to a certain range.

Technology:
Heavy Parachutes- Allows the ability to parachute tanks.
Advanced heal- Medics heal more
Advanced repair- Mechanics build and repair faster
Bomber load-Bombers can bomb twice before refuel
Advanced plate armor-Armored units gain more defense
Rush-All units gain +1 movement
Special operations-Unlocks Spies and Spec-Ops

Still thinking about more stuff!

Unfortunately I am not a good artist, so someone else will have to draw these.
