There like Artillery cannons they move by 1 space and has a range of 6 there good at sherding medium armor. they can also borrow underground.
While underground they cant attack and sight decrease to one and stealth.
When unborrow they return too there artillery mod but it uses all its moves.

I was thinking there attacks are mixtures of rock,mucus, sand and other metal parts
When borrow mod any enemy unit cross its path it will reveal the hole like a mine in aow and when underground there armor increases.

I quite like the idea (especially since it's a cool way to give insectoids physical damaging artillery - something we discussed on Discord earlier), but I have one big problem with it, and that's the appearance - can you describe/use a reference picture for how it's supposed to look?
I would also keep the range at 5.

Antlion could perhaps be whole new set of units burrowing underground. Idea is quite unique for artillery but thats thats for the better.

Hm, as for stats:
Cost: 4
Hp: 28
Armor physical/energy: 2/1
Attack: 12 (physical)
Miss chance: 2% (so it has 10% miss chance on 5 speed vehicles)
Aoe: 1
Actions: 1
Range and sight: 5
Minimal range: 2
Speed: 1
Bonus: 100% buildings, destroyers and submarines, 200% to cruisers and carriers
Ability: Burrow - transform into the burrowed form
Built in tc and bug den
Burrowed form:
Same stats, expect no attack, 0 range, 1 sight, 0 speed, stealth, + 2/1 armor. Can resurface at cost of all actions and movement.
Mechanical category
So it's a much slower human rocket artillery with a bit more range. Instead of 2 actions it has double the power. It loses the bonus to infantry (keeps the one to buildings), but instead it has little miss chance so it can hit even vehicles (orginal post said something about this being AT?, but I don't think an high range AT artillery is necessarily a good idea). It is also more tanky, and obviously has the ability to burrow and gains stealth and armor at cost of basically all combat capabilities. This could be able to destroy human rocket artilleries, assuming it manages to land a few hits, but it will never be as effective against infantry units.

The question is, how can foot units hit the underground? Maybe you should give invulnerability and limit the time spent underground with a timer? Also would like to know your opinion on what the underground version should look like? And also it has to be completely mechanical, completely biological, or 50-50?

Supposedly, some part of it stays out of the ground even when underground, similarly to a normal antlion.

Wouldn't it be easier to start with the not buried version?
It's not supposed to attack when underground, so the gun definitely shouldn't stick out.

These are both forms. The first is buried, the second is combat.

OK, then, why is the combat form still buried in the ground a bit? Its supposed to move, so I think it would be best for it to be completely out of the ground.

I love the drill. Can you try to make the leg behind it a bit more visable? As is, it really seems to be standing on three legs.

I've thought about this after putting it in, since this is a vehicle that isn't AI controlled, it needs some kind of a window for the crew to look where they are going and shooting.
