AAC-1 / AAC-2 (speeder tank)

Post by sortablebird »

The AAC-1 is a hover tank, that's armed with 2 forward facing laser cannons and a rapid firing missile launcher turret. They are good at destroying vehicles, with just a couple of missile shots. It was also used as an anti-aircraft vehicle. The AAC-1 was a prototype concept that never went into production. The design was later sold to the Alliance, cause they found the vehicle useful in some missions. The AAC-2 was an upgraded version of the AAC-1 with just increased armor plating.

era: Galactic Civil War
The tank was only used by the alliance
It is more of a light tank

Unit ideas:
-only uses missles
-long range (less range than artillery tanks)
-Missiles ignore shields
-AAC-2, more armour than AAC-1
-Maybe to be more creative, the AAC-1 will have shields and low armor, AAC-2 , no shield, higher armor... Maybe the enemy will have some ion cannons or some weapons that could penetrate the shields easily, so you could pick the AAC-2 tank to counter it.
