7,5-cm-leichtes Infanteriegeschütz 18
it was a light infantry gun which was easy to transport
If someone could make an iamge it would be nice if there is some data on the gun.

Re: 7,5-cm-leichtes Infanteriegeschütz 18
I tried making an image of it, from the app drejade suggested.
So this is a Mountain gun update
7.5 cm Le. GebIG. 18 (Ig-18)
Type: artillery field gun, mountain gun
Cost 3
Hp 9/9
Power 8
Range 2
Armor 1
Expl. Arm 1
Speed: 2 (1 on mountains/can enter mountain)
Action: 1
Bonus damage:
400% +32 vs infantry
180% + 14 vs vehicle
250% + 20 vs buildings
Same Wiki source
Units like this should be able to move through mountain since they are light and are even used by airborne divisions. It has a good damage vs infantry since they can be fired indirectly and directly rapidly, which would also make them vulnerable thus low hp.
Possible mountain guns for other nation
Soviet: m1938 76mm mountain gun
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/76_mm_m ... _gun_M1938
US: M116 howitzer
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/M116_howitzer
UK: QF 3.7 inch mountain howitzer

Italy: Cannone da 65/17 modello 13
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannone ... modello_13
France: ???
1. Should it have miss speed?
2. Thoughts on stats suggestion and image (lol)?

For a beginner, it's pretty good. My only problem is that in aoww artillery images only consist of only artillery and without the crew, that's more of aor art style.

can you imagine all the other guns separately for the countries.
and if you like you can make the images for the other countries
and yes, this type of cannon should then also be able to be moved through mountains.
the xls we have will then say everything there is to power ect

Thanks. Im still having a hard time choosing the right colors and their mixture or something.
I could make the image for the other artillery, but im not sure if they are the right unit in terms of the best mountain/support gun used by their country.

nice!
i am not sure it is bigger than it should be compared to current ones (i feel it should be smaller), maybe we need to put the other images beside it to know.

Did this made a difference? I tried shrinking it. Though it kinda affected its looks a little bit.

Re: 7,5-cm-leichtes Infanteriegeschütz 18
yes, in pixel art (in such little density) you must know: you must not shrink/scale the image ever
that will totally ruin the image.
you can only resize it manually
my suggestion is putting another artillery beside it so you see how big this should be, maybe it was good already i was just wondering if maybe a little too big.

i dont know the size, is the size ok now? (i have not compared to other units sizes)
if it is in final size it needs only polishing to be ready - eg. fixing the black border if the resize option ruined it.

It should be 64x64??? I have not read that. How do others able to detail their unit while making it so small in the size of 64x64 canvas.

64x64:
i tried to suggest to put existing units beside yours so you will see all things what is usually there,
here are a few images, use these as "directional signs" in all questions.
Also here is a written know-how list about making images, if you happen to yet see it:

Simple shading can help a lot when it comes to detail, just imagine where the light source is coming from and try your best on what you think the shadows would look likeSS-Jericho wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 3:14 pm It should be 64x64??? Thank you po. These are really helpful. The ig-18 will really need a complete remake for right proportion.
But can you also check the other mountain guns I made for other countries (all except france). I might just edit them a little bit since they are not that big compared to this IG-18.

Discord link has expired.
Below is all the images with the following changes:
Resize of canvas to 64x64
Resize of units and polishing
All white pixels are transparent (including inside and shadows)
Ammo box/team color copied from image provided
they are really smaller than other units
Note that the italian gun is not the one i suggested above*

oh sorry, i saw on "artillery_m116_mountain" some similar pixels that a scale would do.It did not ruined the image, i resized it manually pixel by pixel. Its just small lol and they are.
my bad.
oh no! not to the crews - but to the other artillery in game already! Here is a comparison scale to crews
(infantry sizes are differing those are only compared to other infantries not to equipemts! so only compare to images i sent you above about other artilleries)

Re: 7,5-cm-leichtes Infanteriegeschütz 18
Did a said crews i meant artillery . you can see that the ig-18 is a lot smaller than the lefh18 (artillery already in game). Most crews have to crouch to use it while for lefh18 crews have to stand. I cant find a side by side comparison of it, but here is some info according to wiki: ( i cant find height and width data for ig-18 so I supplemented with the type94howitzer)
1. Lefh18 (already in game):
Height: 1.880 m (6 ft 2.0 in)
Width: 1.977 m (6 ft 5.8 in)
Length: 6.100 m (20 ft .2 in)
Mass: Travel: 3,490 kg (7,690 lb) / Combat: 1,985 kg (4,376 lb)
2. IG:18 (suggestion)
Length: 2.5meters (8 ft 2 inch)
Mass: Travel: 1,560 kg (3,439 lb)/Combat: 400 kg (882 lb)
3. Type 94 howitzer (suggestion)
Height: 2 ft 11 in (0.89 m)
Width: 1.023 m (3 ft 4 in) Track 1.354 m (4 ft 5 in) Maximum
Length: 3.81 m (12 ft 6 in) Firing (trails open)
3.89 m (12 ft 9 in) (trails closed)
Mass: 3.96 m (13 ft 0 in) Traveling
544 kg (1,199 lb) Firing
495 kg (1,091 lb) Traveling
