Hello, does anyone have an idea of a good name to replace the DEFCON levels(AoMW's version of the Industry levels from AoW) in game? Since DEFCON sounds American and would look weird to be researched when playing as China, per say...
It would be good if the name would suit for all nations, or in short terms, sounds generalized.
Here is how the DEFCON Levels currently work...
DEFCON Level 1: 2005- present
As you can see, each DEFCON Level has a gap of 15 years.
Or should we just retain the DEFCON Levels name instead?

To be honest
Defcon just sound cool.
But yes it does sound american, yet I have no thought on what else they should be called that would sound cooler and be more unique at the same time :\

Re: Age Techs
I have an idea.
They could be called generations.
Like, for example, first generation is from 1945-1960, second generation is from 1960-1975 and so on.

That sounds nice...
Maybe Second Generation, Third Generation, Fourth Generation techs?

No, the development of technology is tied to specific discoveries in science. I wanted to write about it, unfortunately I didn't have time. Roughly speaking, the discovery of new metals made it possible to make afterburners and third-generation aircraft began to fly at supersonic speeds. Naturally, this is a more resource-intensive path, but logical and historically correct. In the USSR I can make a clear layout of what discoveries made it possible to take a step forward.
