P.44 Pantera IMPLEMENTED

Post by ZakTheBuilder1 »

A Italian heavy tank developed in 1944
Existed only in blueprints.
Armed with a 90mm cannon and would of ripped them tommy cookers
Had 700hp and top speed of 37 mph or 60kph.

wasn't it a fake tank created by WoT? Maybe a source you could provide?

I didn't think it was
It stated it was in blueprints but never produced idk
If it is what would they replace it with
And the same in this game
There wouldn't be anything to rival tiger or panther

They probably gave it the name because the blueprint didn't have one idk

No other site has anything in the era of this game
France
Italy
And what's to come
Right after the beginning of the war the nations couldn't make anything because they were under Nazi rule
So all they could make were Nazi designed
I honestly think the game should have a fourth age, after 45 but before the 60s

You know the Pantera looks like the panther and a p40 had a baby. the Italian panther

That could be evidence that A wargaming faked it or B the actual designer drew a blueprint similar because that's the tanks they had seen that looked good like the panther
IDK

Yep, just doublechecked, i could find no source other than the wargaming's one, it's just a fake tank. and waht are you talking about? italy didn't have their own designs mid war? obviuosly they had!

Because they were under Nazi rule and France also along with other countries they couldn't research equally as good vehicles or tech as the Germans
This will cause unbalance
So I think there should be a fourth age to give the nations a chance to catch up with the Germans and quite frankly the rest of the world
I thought about that because while Japan has a autoloader tank the Chi Ri at the same time France is fighting with all its got left
A new age after 1945 but before the hippy 60s

here is an account in the wikipedia of the italian panther that is not called P44 but P43 bis: There is a photograph of the P43 as a wooden model (probably on a smaller scale) along with other models of the P40 and P43 bis, 30 tons with cannon that looks like it could be a lighter version of the 90/53 piece. In the same photo there is a model of a slightly smaller German Panther version, probably with a 90/53 cannon (P43 Bis), which the Germanic part stigmatized as plagiarism of the Panther tank that Italy had received plants for production on license. It appears that this model received the abbreviation P43 bis (perhaps due to the observed inability to quickly reach the production of the P43 with a 90 mm piece). This overlap of studies can be traced both to news from the Russian front about the new Soviet medium tank T-34/85 of 32 tonnes and with an 85 mm cannon derived from the anti-aircraft gun either by the availability of data and drawings from the German Pantera. According to several publications, the engines should be: The 330 hp P26 / 40 diesel engine was replaced in production by a 420 hp gasoline. Diesel engine P30 / 43 or P43 420/430 CV V12. P.43 bis (90/42 mm pistol) the same 420/430 hp engine. P.35 / 43 or according to P43 bis (Panther reduction) 35 tonnes with 90/53 or 90/42 mm pistol and 470/480 HP engine copied from the Russian T-34 engine. The 80/100 mm frontal protection would guarantee performance equal to that of machines designed by other nations, such as the Russian 46 tonne Iosef Stalin 2 (which was 122 mm), the 57 ton Tiger I and superior to the 45 ton Panther, that was 80 mm. if you want to know more this is on the wikipedia website: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/P43_tank

he was not a panther but had a nickname given by the Germans of (Italian panther) he used only the tilted armor of the panther his engine was a copy of the Russian engine and his suspension was a copy of a captured British tank it was only developed because the new P43 tanks that were in development couldn’t receive the big 90mm cannon.
