a spell that levitates a unit in mid-air.
it can be an offensive or a friendly spell too.

This would be a great defensive measure against an Earthquake spell, if there were one...(hint, hint... ;-))
It's better to keep your mouth shut and let people wonder if you're a fool than to open it and remove all doubt...

i thought of making a single eg. swordman unit being able to attack eg. an ornithopter or any flying dragon or something.

That's a good idea, too, but most flight-capable units are extremely maneuverable(fast)...Levitation wouldn't really give the site's target any control over itself...it would merely float upward...but it's an interesting idea...maybe an upgraded levitation spell like Flight would work better against, say, an ornithopter...

For enemy units it could be like fear(they get afraid when they see them in air)
But what for Already flying units,will they come to ground?

Try this:

Target unit's movement is reduced to 0, but it gains flying. Duration 2. Can target any non-flying ally or enemy. Cooldown....not sure if it needs one. Offensively, it's not as strong as curse, and it has a big drawback for use on your own troops.

Can immobilize an enemy, or give an allied unit a tactical advantage, making it useful in many circumstances. Swordsman vs ornithopter? He can hit it. Need to halt an enemy advance? Levitate them. Put it on your own troops to give them practical immunity to ground based melee.

What race should we give this to? I'm thinking human.

Elf version: windwalk
Gives target ally flying, but -1 speed for 3 turns. Cooldown 3
