Yeah. if it was me i would have passed it in turn 50 instead of 29.

@Stratego (dev) I think we're debating on whether they even should be removed. If the AI gets a few heroes, the game has a bit more challenge to it.

no, no - they must be removed, these special foum units must not appear in camp/random/multiplayer games even produced by AI.

they should only used in some special "forum member themed" camapaign/skirmish maps

oh.
i just said that we need to remove builders from the new forum units too, and i said it is ok they dont have builders currently.

why do u as that? they must not be trained - these are only campaign characters.

actually totally the opposite:
- i got many bad reviews about AI having units they dont have (normal upgrade units)
- also i dont want to mix non fantasy world units with normal fantasy gameplays (campaigns, random maps, multiplayers)
- the only non fantasy thing can be in these cases:
1. dedicated skirmish/campaign maps where the "theme" can be such.
2. with "fan units" option where you can buld the pea shooter and tie fighter too.
i can make these units if u like as "fun" units so in these games (only random/multip. games) it can be trained (i talk about forumer units, the hero knight and orthers are simply campaign map heroes - no fun units)

Fun mode buildable sounds good. Can we get another ai option where the ai can build these normally unbuildable units?

People actually complain about AI having units they don't have? Jeez I guess I'm so used to AI I automatically counter any thing they throw at me.

Never used the pea shooter or tie fighter before since I havent gotten around to it yet but for AI to bulid them sounds like a cool challenge ( dont know how strong these units are )

Pea shooter costs 3 from builders, has 3 actions and medium-low range/power. With strengthen, human archery techs, elf archery bonuses, or dwarven workforce behind them they can get fairly strong, but mostly as an easily spammed archer unit.

Tie fighter is on the other end of things. High cost, but very powerful. One can easily win a battle against a noob, but if your opponent counters it you just wasted a lot of production.

Oh ok, I'm excited for this next update especially since I've been waiting to play AOF due to how current things are.
Additional Things AI can do And a balance is worth the wait

Well it seems most of the race will be overhaul and get units. You better start making ideas in for it to be included in this update.

That's alright, this update im more on about AI doing more stuff and some outside game details like the 8 player slots.
Once I see some of those ideas actually get in, ill get back on helping out with other races.
As of right now I think there is too many unit ideas to be put in one update especially when the next upcoming update was more on balance.

Nothing has Changed about AI.
Its still broken

Undead spawns in just zombies most of the time

Dwarves can't cross water

Elves doesn't use blacksmith techs when spawning in blacksmith

And Overall all the Races don't Use everything they have.

Just setting another reminder, some of you already saw on discord

AI Undeads - they don't use phantom garrison nor do they golden armor tech, on top of zombie spamming constantly

AI humans - they don't build blacksmith which is very important for humans

AI Orcs - they don't upgrade orcs to 3rd tech and won't use some units at all

AI Dwarves - they don't use some units and don't know how to get across water

AI Scalefolk- they hardly use dragon and they need to upgrade more often

AI elves - they build blacksmith but don't use techs also don't use every unit.
