Kodamas are positive spirits so they are generally seen as bringers of luck
Initially I was thinking to make them similar to goblin spikers (weak but free units) but they might have different effects if they are summoned units.
We might give them no attack but give them a aura in range 1
Aura might vary (we might actually have different kodamas) so we might have one that gives 1/1 armor around it, another 1 attack, another might grant healing every turn and such kind of effects
Will buffs from same kodamas stack?
Will their spawn (if falling like spikers) be one type of each or it will be random?
Will attack buffing kodamas affect archers?
Will kodamas have vanishing?

The thing that they can buff actually much more units - 16 units with single kodama (4 units in each parapet around kodama).

Mmm true but I guess it is fine as it would be a defensive strategy
In case of hamletback fall there would be a single kind, like goblin spikers
