Yes, you need to change something. Not sure, looks a bit grainy? Maybe reduce the amount of different shades of grey used, and use black outlines for more things to make them more clear, we don't need to see every brick.
What I mean is your new additions, the cannons, are very visible, while the tops of the towers and walls have no outlines, would look weird compared to the aesthetic of AO games. Look at some of DreJaDe's buildings, they look much 'cleaner'.

The fort looks good, the outline doesnt need to be dark as long as all the features are clearly visible, like on your image.
Making the outline darker is one way of making things more clear, with probably the least amount of work, so I suggested maybe Quadrupole could try that.
On the leftmost tower of the fort, is one of the tower walls missing? Or is it meant like that? Other than that looks great
Also we need like 16 images, one of each stage of the mega buildings being built, however I that takes an absurd amount of work, I did the monastery in AOS so we can leave it for later I guess
Also like 4 images of regular buildings being built

oh ok I found your reference picture, guess it is okay without the wall then. Tracing it really does make accurate pictures haha, how do you layer the image behind your canvas? Do you use gimp? This seems really good for buildings

For boxy buildings I just use the 2 pixel like this then make vertical lines to add length.
For circular. It's more on the perspective.
