Out of the onea you posted I think we are still missing these. However we have a lot of other ones already finished that were not listed
I still think 'light infantry' should skirmishers. That was there role. We can have light line infantry too but under a different name

I think it could be the renaissance upgrade for late medieval light cavalry.

Re: English units
Many German states also had hussars, so did France, Spain, Austria, Hungary etc. Maybe we can make them a special unit for only some nations if you want.
Light cavalry will need upgrades nonetheless

Re: English units
Maybe have eastern hussar and hussar, like different units. Also, i heard about huzar...is this another unit? If u know tell me.
Another option is make hussar upgrade able for eastern europe factions at renaissance

About foot knight...i forgot about them, i will edit the post
Re: English units
Yeah, like marines. I have planned another eras techs for ships and those stuffs. Something like:Squirrel5555 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 3:34 pm Out of the onea you posted I think we are still missing these. However we have a lot of other ones already finished that were not listed
●row decadence:
-sailor
-galleot
-galley
-galleass
●age of sails
-frigatte
-corvette
-marines
●warships era
-ship of the line
-rifle marine
I am sure there more units and ships. Its not exactly how i though first, but is similar
Some techs and units will be unlocked with the main eras techs...so...what do you think about it?

Re: English units
No, I think huzar is the same thing.
Maybe most nations will have normal upgrade for light cavalry, however eastern will have a different tech with replaces the normal tech and upgrades light cavalry to hussars. I think this is what you mean. No point giving them hussars AND upgraded light cavalry as they will fulfill the same role.

Re: English units
Ok, I made 15th century cannon.
This is the cannon line so far. Both are very slow, mainly against fortifications but can also do good damage to large formations of men.

Re: English units
I like the cannon. Could change the artillery crew? It doesnt fit it at all.
Also, it looks like carronade...
No wheels for the 15th century cannon. I have searched for falconet (15th century) it should be the standard one.
The cannon was smaller...i dont know how to describe it...

Re: English units
I dont understand why no wheels im pretty sure they fit. And the cannon crew needs to be changed but i couldnt be bothered at the time so i just pasted it from the other cannon, but it can be changed later
By the way this wasnt supposed to be a falconet, which is much smaller. The falconet was a light cannon but if you want i will make this one smaller too

Re: English units
Ok the falconet is nearly ready, I made the whole thing quite a bit smaller. If you dont mind Gral i will paste your crew member onto the new cannon. I will post it tomorrow as it still requires some work.
I am very happy rams will be gone and if we agree on it i would want to nerf wagons too

Mmh complicated...maybe for future...
Re: English units
This is just a suggestion
I think we should use red to define some features for the units in British of AOD.
Yes, it's not historically accurate if such but I kinda like how they define the color for factions in AOW. Also, even in AOW, no one color their army in life like such but it's better since they will be able to identify factions easily.
Of course if this is approved, we should also do this for other factions

Re: English units
For me the cannon (wood part) should be made in lighter color. Its way too dark for the game I think.
