Chain Shot

Once invented, it would allow cannons to shoot chain shot. Chain shot is 2 cannonballs chained together that can easily defeat infantry and cavalry.

Good idea, we had this planned.

But chainshot was used to slow enemy ships down, by firing it at their sails. It was not used against infantry and cavalry

thats right!
there is already a chainshot sprite made by me, its pretty horrible so i deleted it. it would be a spell
get an image and suggest power and effects. if the topic doesnt have them, i wont answer, and it wont be implemented

I heard it in history class one day. It was 2 years ago. I don't have a very good memory. Well, I only remember some things.

Requires the tech "Chain Shot" which is researched in 3 turns in the port. Unlocks chain shot ability for some ships.

Range 4
Effect: -2 speed on enemy ship for 2 turns
Cooldown: 4 turns
Small damage

Or, should it slow the enemy ship until they are fixed by a worker?

this could be a status removed with mend...
i would like to give mend rate to ports, but it would only work on ships...btw idk if its possible

Could you be thinking of grape shot - basically the cannon equivalent of buck shot, lots of little pieces of nasty that spread out over a larger area?
I also play an RTS game called Life 8-)
And I also like drinking beer! :D

I think in AOWW that ports only heal ships so yes
