there is left the first upgrade for the musket line
i think it could have a plug-bayonet and some knid of hat of those years
if u notice the upgrade techs we have for musekts are all hats...so we could use that concept

btw, the upgrade techs need the blue bottle

these are only for england
red coats my friend
i dont know if every facion will have its own version, with different sprite and stats
by now, british is the priority so this is for british

That one specifically I didn't make, so I am not sure, just needed to change some green to brown. That is the 16th century musketeer I guess.

The 17, 18, and 19th century images are all England specific.

Many people are not making England specific images.

Well then. I take the liberation to change some parts. Also fixed the hat cause the team color is wrong.

REBALANCE SUGGESTED!
for gameply sake, i am thinking that main musket line could be a 3 turns unit
so we would have a 2 turns unit, with the main cheap infantry role: "recruits" (the name is attached to changes)

the 1 turn infantry unit would be levies, militias later. the weapons they could use are: spears, bows, crossbows, pikes, arquebuses, muskets.
the variety deppends on the faction, as well as the quality of these very cheap units.

the 3 turns main infantry unit is this: "musketeers"

*recruits and levies/militia are not affected by some formation spells*

here u can suggest new stats, or u can post ur disagreement.

for levies, yes
we need and upgrade for pike levies, to "pike militia", bow levies could also be upgraded, but spears no T_T.
arquebus militia apears at renaissance, since muskets were more expensive and heavier.
so this would be the scheme:

medieval era:
-spear levies
-bow levies
-pike levies

renaissance:
-pike militia
-arquebus militia
-bow militia

discoveries era:
-musket militia

I actually want to disagree with this since 3 turn units as main are boring but its not like cavalry didnt get popularize also in AOS which is always a 4 turn unit so idk. If everyone agree then im in.

But most importantly you should give a reason.

Why should we add another tier of units between levies/militia and line infantry? Is there any point, or just making the game slower? Is it too hard to balance right now, or something else?

mmh, if u ask me a reason, it wouldbe something like i muskets were actually more expensive and harder to use than arquebus, so them both costing the same doesnt make sense to me. dercesing arquebus cos to 1 isnt a viable solution.
mmh, btw the uniforms we are using for red coats and upgrades were actually well trained troops, actually well known units by the great battles they fought.
also, some other units like grenadiers would now cost 4 turns so they would fit as an elite shock unit. no spell needsa rework, just change some stats like hp, atack, abilitypower, armor, and obviously cost, so its not that hard
ubt if u think it shouldnt be like that then is ok
