Time update - Eras

Will this have the time upg like in AOW.

Like we have the 1400 then there will be an upg to 1500. Like in AOE if I'm right.

yes it is called ERA techs.
check in aow.
i think in AOG assets you can also see those (unless Midonik removed it already)
if not there ask me for sample jsons from aow.

I think if we have this the techs needed for unit upgraded version (Carrack to Galleon) would change or it can be like in AOW which unlocks units for every Era change.

We could also have some requirements before teching up the ERA. Like for example, you need to have this type of unit or to have this other techs first.

But with some conditions i think...
Never mind, just like aow is fine too

Also, we would need to define the timelap for every era
For example
Medieval decline (1450-1500)
Early modernity (1500-1600)
Middle modernity (1600-1700
Times for changes (1700-1800)

With other names

And define what techs will be able to research in what era

Well we could also do it like
Late Mideival Period is the start (1400-1500)
Renaissance Period (1500-1600)
Age of Discovery (1600-1750)
And last Nepoleonic Era (1800-)

I mean, they indeed are periods that overlapped each other but can be explained by (This is a Game after all)

I dont know if we should get napoleon era (1800 +)
But it could have nice units and techs
For now,, they can be era 1, era 2 and era 3
Also, it would be great if naval units and buoldings had their own eras. Like "rows decline era" "sails era" steam era" that combined with some normal eras enables techs, structures and units

I have been reorganizing some things
This is my suggestion for eras
●late medieval era (1400-1500)

●renaissance era (1500-1600)
-requieres: "print" and "matchlock" techs

●discoveries era (1600-1750)
-requieres: "america discovery" tech

●napoleon (1750-1800)
-requieres: "imperialism" tech

I'd really like naval eras too
●row decline era

●sail era
-requieres "navigation" tech and have a port

●warships era
-requieres "multideck" tech

Hope we don't go with the steam ship era.

That's pretty much late.

Also, I don't think Science is what we need in the Discovery era, if what you mean is the discovery of America's.

I don't agree with different era upg for every nation.

I don't really know what to suggest though

Just a proper same era change should do
