Normally an assassin can one hit kill any unit.
After the previous update, I think there is a bug in which assassins can't kill quite just anyone now.
Key is "First strike" ability.
An Elite Hospitaller Halberdier has 10 attack. With priest's Fervor, 2nd sword attack, and Battle song, thats 16 attack.
When the assassin attacks the Halberdier, the Halberdier strikes first the assassin with half of its attack (so 8 damage) and kills the assassin while staying alive.
Not sure it thats intentional or not.

Never noticed that, but this is actually like it should work according to the code.
If it didn't before, then it's more like fixing a bug.
Edit: but seeing stratego reaction I doubt there was any change regarding that.
Maybe we could add quick change to give assassin no counter spec to deal with such units (in AoS only anti-mounted really have first strike, so it's OK).
It would be balancing change, not bugfix though.
But even if not - in my assets assassin no longer uses deathtouch (kill any unit with attack, while dying itself), but rather castable effect ability Assassination.
It's just that it's taking much longer than expected to finish it (whole pack).

I probably messed again the multiplyer-replaying turn bugs, by the attempt to fix the recently reported resign problem.
please get the dev version and test it wil someone or ifu have multiple phones you can alone too.
uos 10 in all these versions AOF/AOW/AOS/AOG
scenarios needs to be tested
- normal playing the game 2-3 multiplyer humans
- normal playing the game 2 multiplyer humans but with also several AI-s.
using the the above setups:
- normal gameplay
- player resigning
- LAST player resigning (i mean last to be last in the players list)
- skipping another player
- kicking another player
- winning a game.
not sure i listed all possible cases.
