version 1.140

In this forum I post the changes on the DEVELOPER version of the game.
These versions are (at the time i post them) not yet published to google play, only registered testers can download it and test it before publishing.

Beta version of sword slash animation is uos already: only human swordsman have it set now

please check and tell me if change needed

further changes maybe needed that i konw
a) animation changes direction when hittin to bottom or to top (now only changes to right and left with the unit turning)
b) maybe bring the animtion to top of everything? now it can go under other units if that unit is newer than the attacking one (was always like this with the melee attack "moving")
c) other?

ok the experimental things are now in with these
- movement animation: the tiger tank has same dust as in AOW
- attack animation melee: sworsman, knight, light cav., shield knight have sword swing animation on attack
- attack animation ranged case: cannoneer has a smoke "explosion" when fires the cannon.

we have other options too, not yet set in AOS on any unit
- spell animation: eg. if a healer makes any spell it can "glow" or anything during the process.
- mend animation : when a worker makes a mending it can drop sweat or something :)

the questions i wrote in prev post are still open - please give feedback.

swing + polearm units have animation - i dont really like the polearm version
axe is a fake red sword animation will be raplaced to some axe later.

Mapeditor:Hills are autotiled again

- handgun effects
- elevated handgun effect (elephant, horse)
- skirmisher effect - please tell me if that also needs an elevated version or not. (now horseskirmisher uses same)
(also i fixed some cannon/handgun unit sounds and attack projectiles)

i made an arrow for movement confirmation, not only the pink balls.

It looks nice. However pink rope lines can be seen in it and i suggest to remove it ( i don't think it looks good).

also uos 5 the latest version.
i also made Z ordering of units - so the weird thing when animation goes behing other unit will be in cases when the attacker is really behind unit.
it means Zorder sorting after all movement i hope AI not got slower...

I hope the swordsman wont stand on fort and the castle wont get a scout dog head. If it went successful, it might be a huge leap in the game's future of graphics.

Well, for me it doesn't. Was it even intentional to add it? I only saw on this version log that the arrow is the only thing to be added on movement.

Actually, it will be useful for new players, to understand, how the "speed" is used up by tile path. Maybe the line was a little more thicker, but not as much as the dots.

actually that line should be as thick as the pink dots.

interesting how itis looking like that on your device, what is your screen resolution?

Exactly how i saw on mine. Maybe its the issue with the emulator he is using?(but how come it effect only the line?)

Oh, the lines in mine is so thin. I think the lines cover space and blocks a line of the unit's sprite so i choose (A). I haven't changed my decision, i still think the lines should be removed. I think the arrow on move is awesome though.

That can be rectified by z index -1. And i think that is what made him do z ordering decision so instantly.

i made a version where the next turn and other buttons are again on the right side, and there is a settings option to move them little to left if needed.

please check if i messed up something or not - thankS!
