Age of Cossacks

Post by Derrmant »

  • ImageI represent my idea - Cossack wars
It is planned to create five nations:
    Cossacks
    The Turks
    Poles
    Russian
    Tatars (on the picture Cossacks)

U can always make war campaigns
There is no place for false kings here, only those who proves themselves to b the true kings of legend, or serves under me

For I watch over this world looking for those worthy to become kings, and on the way get rid of the fakes and rule over the fools

It can be interesting. How about a whole musket and horse era than just the cossacks?

What exactly time? Cossack's rebel started in XVII I think (I had 6 or 5 from that history exam this year, but I'm not sure now xD). Those times? For me, as a Pole, that would be of interesting, but I'm not sure if many people enjoy that era.
We cloud made it from Thirty Years War to end of Great Northen War, including War of Spanish Succession and other greater wars that happened in those times (so from first half of XVI century to begging of XVIII I think? Am I wrong?). There were a revolution in warfare or two in that period, but it's still quite similar, we cloud make a big tech trees :D
For factions: WB, France, Spain, Austria, Prussia, Polish-Lithuaninan Commonwealth, Russia, Sweden, Ottoman Empire, Cossacks perhaps. Maybe HRE minor states as one and Italy minor states too, eventually Portugal.

I like this idea. This can be the sequel to AoS with gunpowder era. Should we focus on a part of the world or all or European only?

They can stay in AOS. I don't think gunpowder era has any interesting units at all. Just musketeers, arqebusiers, regulars, grenadiers, minutemen etc.

We can make it from the 16th century many melee weapoks were still used and also in that era we reached the pinnacle of armor

Gunpowder era has pretty much interesting units. Cannons and artilleries, pikemen, cavalries, dragoons, reiters, skirmishers, sharpshooters, swordsmen, lancers, cavalry archers like in Eastern Europe, organ guns, rockets, mortars.

Some nations still don't fight with the formation system although they have musket. So not all will fight the same way. Most Western Europe already fight with formation.

I read with fire and sword
But I think that to do a game on the plot of this book is not necessary because there is a lot of fantasy
