As for my review of TheBluePhoenix, he too is very pleasant to play with. He upgraded his men early (ie heavy knights and men at arms). He had this thing for a while though, of sending one turtle ship at a time to my waiting fleet of cannon ships...

You know thats why i hate turtles.. i never understood their use. I hope i will be able to see its use in coolguy's play, that is if he responds to my request abd makes a map soon..

Lol BluePhoenix, I'm not going to lie, your ship strategies do seem to be a bit suicidal.

Turtle ships are incredible for defending important waters, especially if have a group of 3 or more, but they are not particularly good at sailing alone into other fleets.

To be true, i do suck at naval battles but never lose them because i know the golden rule to win in them which is valid in aos at present..
Thankfully, i am much better off on land...

Just started our match (I will try to be active on it )

We are on the Great Lakes. I stupidly put the map on explored instead of reveal, so no screenshots for now. I am not completely happy with my starting position, but I will see what I can do. I think TheBluePhoenix can get to his towns quicker than I can, judging by his points.

I killed his only castle with a moneyman boosted trebuchet. And maybe because of that. Also i conquered few of his tc s. So i gained more so it was ok to give up.
