Heinkel He 162 "Salamander" (salamander)

Wooden, single engine jet fighter planned for 1945.
Armed with two Mk 151 cal. 15.1mm it was designed to intercept heavy Allied bomber-formations. Although 170 were completed none of them saw action in the war.
