Re: WWII Navies - Aircraft Carriers
2x2 is a good unit size, any issues with that will be fixed.

Okay, but as far as the movement for large units goes, you won't see an aircraft carrier cruising up the little stream behind your house...these are huge oceangoing vessels...an AC won't even sail into an enemy harbor--it transports aircraft within about 100 miles of an enemy coast so it's aircraft are within striking distance of the targets...but it's your decision, Daniel...

yes they wont fit into a river, and also we talked about shallow and deep water distinction and some ships will only be able to sail on deep water.but as far as the movement for large units goes, you won't see an aircraft carrier cruising up the little steam behind your house...these are huge oceangoing vessels
ok, it is up to the player than.an AC won't even sail into an enemy harbor
i am not sure what is your point.it transports aircraft within about 100 miles of an enemy coast so it's aircraft are within striking distance of the targets...but it's your decision, Daniel...
of curse: player won't go near enemy with this vessel if it is weak to have close attacks/skirmishes/encounters.

Re: WWII Navies - Aircraft Carriers
My point was about the icon size issue...but it doesn't really matter, anyway...as long as its recognizable and functional in the game, that's what's important...

Re: WWII Navies - Aircraft Carriers
I think at all unit sizes should be 1x1 but one unit should be unit of about 100 men or 10 vehicles, planes or guns and navy units should be single ships.

Re: Aircraft Carriers
i thought carriers should be able to build aircrafts, what do u think?
Re: Aircraft Carriers
Maybe only scout planes. I thought that they could maybe just heal the planes and the airfields or hangers could build them.
Thanks!

Re: Aircraft Carriers
yes they can carry planes and heal them already.
i was mentioning if they could be factories - because carriers are costy and without this i rather build battleships i think.

Re: WWII Navies - Aircraft Carriers
This looks like a dead topic.
A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
