Damage affects ships performance.

Post by Shark guy 35 »

Currently, a damaged ship can do the sane things as a normal ship, but with less health. I propose this:

For aircraft carriers: if they receive more than 50% damage, they can no longer build or shelter aircraft.
For submarines: if they receive more than 50% damage, they can no longer shoot torpedoes.
If they receive more than 50% damage, they can no longer dive. If they are submerged already, they will be forced to the surface.
For ALL ships: if they receive more than 50% damage, their speed is reduced by 50%. If they receive more than 75% damage, their speed is reduced by 75%.
If they receive more than 60% damage, their damage will be reduced by 50% as there will gun turrets that are out of commission.

the idea is certainly a good one, if it works for ships, you could do it for other units as well, but I think it will be difficult to program
