Vehicle Maintenance / chance for engines to break down ANSWERED

This would add another aspect to the game as it would make you think twice about making a battalion of tanks and other vehicles.

There would be a 1 to 30 percent chance of the vehicle not being able to move unless you get a engineer or riflemen to that vehicle.

You know what the longer the vehicle goes the more chance of it breaking down

This would also be a chance to add a mechanic unit /recovery vehicle or a infantry mechanic.

This is a historical and realistic feature to add it could possible be a button in the create game menu titled breakdowns on or off.

Also the more you upgrade and produce the vehicle the chances of it breaking down decrease

I dont think it would be good that the chance for a defect increases with the moving distance. It would be more realistic but I would hate it

There almost no way stratego would add smt like that.

This would create so much problem in the game you know. All to more that tanks and vehicles tend to have higher price.

What would be the problem and why would they never add it if it adds to the immersion .

Adding smt to the settings is already too hard and just for bit of immersion is not that really worth it.

Second, if trucks can get a chance of breaking down. Tiger tanks would have a 100% chance of breaking down thus they would be useless.

Third, they represent a whole unit. One or two trucks from a unit can be fixed in a matter of minutes.

It's okay to be creative, and In reality. I was just saying the negative in your idea. You don't have to take me seriously if you want.

sorry, but this would kill the total gameplay. would double or triple the "micromanagement". same as "fuel" would do.

I remember a Google Playstore Review before saying "Why do my tanks keep disabling or exploding in <this map>?" I forgot the map name ehehe. :lol:
