Tank recovery vehicle +IMG

Post by ZakTheBuilder1 »

A specified vehicle that every nation may of had to recover their tanks. But for the game it should be fast and repairs the tanks more than engineers and a tank factory would.

And also give it the possibility to "move" other heavy tanks... im saying this because some really slow tanks get stuck in the trenches.

Indeed... maybe a cost of 4/5 turns should be sufficient with no weapons aboard to make it balanced.

They had many as tanks chassis here is the first one.

Type 97 chassis with a collapsible crane powered by a Type 100 240 hp diesel engine. The winch was located over the rear deck of the engine compartment. The Se-Ri also had "external stowage ranks" on each side of the hull. A machine gun turret replaced the main gun turret used on the Type 97 tank. Introduced in 1939, three were produced.[16][17] all the others were ahead of ww2

We can use them also to repair tanks faster than a normal engineer or riflemen.

Ladungsleger Tiger the German recovery vehicle
For some reason I can't find a link to copy so just imagine a tiger with a crane on its turret without a canon.

American recovery vehicle

The M32 Armored Recovery Vehicle was an armored recovery vehicle used during World War II and the Korean War by the United States, and was based on the chassis of the M4 Sherman.

Yeah I'm just trying to find something for all nations
I think that the tiger is more for heavy tanks and the panther is for pz4 and bellow
But they look like they have the same crane and I also think that the panther has a better engine and is lighter so
Instead of a tiger it should the panther and I bet there were more panther ones than tigers but its up to the devs

So yeah, both the panther and the tiger were only capable of repairing light and medium vehicles as both their cranes were weak.

So if there is a reason we need it it should be implemented
Even though they did the same job a reason for the tiger to be is that it be for heavy vehicles and have more armor.

(Again) The thing is the Tiger wasn't able to help heavier vehicles as it could only lift lighter vehicles (Panzer 2, 3 etc) not heavy vehicles. understand?

I read it the first time and if u read u would have seen that I know that. but a reason for it and the panther is that one can do heavy and one can't UNDERSTAND?
It may not be possible IRL but why have two that do the same thing when you can make one do something the other can't mkay

Aren't we aiming for historical accuracy tho? Anyway, I know so many games with recovery vehicles in, for example company of heroes 2 or even that mobile game road to valor, both of them decided to have only one of these two in their games and both work just fine and no one complained. By adding another tank that is in no way any diffrent from the other is just an unnecessary step and is only complicating the gameplay.

Actually they would differ in speed, armor, max heal to unit per turn, appearance, and health
I'm tired of arguing the tiger just to me seems more stable to pull something but the panther has a better engine and I also looked into Santa's sleigh and saw this
