i dont think we can make indiovidual segments, those should join each other that we can not make now.

so we can only have one tile train image and we need to check it in a vertical track how bad it looks

alternatively:
also i have idea about "autotrain" things.

we can have an effect of a rail terrain (do we have rails as terrain?)
so
- rails give an effect to units eg. +5 speed
- whicle the effect is on the unit will have a effect indicator that is not a little icon but a big train under the unit (i think we can only put over currently - whatever) - maybe over or around the unit -


i will draw a few ideas

my 1x1 train upscaled from current AOMW train, surely needs a new image but the concept is here, it turns only right to left so on up down tracks looks little weird.
it can have 4 capacity to transfer units, can only move on rails but fast.

What about building the train in its entirety at once? Like building a Tank or a ship there could be prepared train-models... an AA-train, a carrier-train and a Tank-train for example. Or every Player could customize its own train. Like every train has 5 Waggons and there are different kinds of them and you can mix them together?

on the one-tile train idea : i made this concept above - would this be good for a train, that can eg. carry 3-4 units and moves with high speed on rails?

Can players build rails or should we lock it under map editor?

Maybe we could have restrictions on the construction of these rails e.g. nearby towns or something.

Idk just throwing ideas. Maybe we could even add a rail tech.

No they can't. They can only build roads and trenches. How much does it cost to build rails by engineers?

As a start maybe we should make them cost the same (or slightly more) as roads.

Can the enemy player destroy your rails? Or capture then instead perhaps?

How much does the train cost? Is it built in towns or by engineers?

If towns maybe 3-4 towns.
If engineers, maybe 7-8 turns.

Can the train be carried by transport Truck? (It shouldn't but if it is built from towns it has to be carried somehow)

no, that would be a terrain like the roads. enemy can only "clear terrain" it as with roads and trenches. however destroying it with eg. bombing would be useful, but not sure how we can make it any idea is welcome.

dont know, maybe 6 turns? in towns, not by engineers.

Maybe you could give bombers an anti terrain ability very similar to the engineer "clear terrain" construction building.

Not sure how many times is needed to complete the destruction of the rail terrain but maybe 2-3 times should be enough.

E.g. Bomber "clear terrain" 2 times on rail. Rail is gone.

yes but that would be awkward a little, as the intuitive would be using same bombing ability they already have.

maybe we can hold the bombarding of rails for later - in unity version a better targeting would be, where "attack ground" also possible.
