Lately I drew this. It's not a unit or anything. Although I would like to ask a simple question. Does anyome like this style? It's not a completely different, I just removed a few unnatural looking lines and improved some parts.

Re: New infantry appearance.
Definitely looks good!
If you can complete a set of a Nation, making that the normal one would be awesome. Though.. I don't think stratego will approve it. Idk

Re: New infantry appearance.
images look very nice but i think they are too "fat" of fluffy or how english say - they look not so realisic because of this.
Re: New infantry appearance.
The guy above has his gun in a placement which blocks the view, possibly making the soldier look "fatter" or "fluffier" so this can be the problem.Stratego (dev) wrote: ↑Wed Dec 09, 2020 7:38 am images look very nice but i think they are too "fat" of fluffy or how english say - they look not so realisic because of this.
The Soldat bellow was 9 pixel wide, just like the running Japanese soldier done by Samuelch, I changed that to 7.
What also could be the case is that both of them are supposed to wear great coats but their legs are too dark.
Besides that everything else is copy and pasted from the original soldier.
Anyway, I would like some more directions but You don't need to give them. Anyway this is what I came with.

Re: New infantry appearance.
ok, maybe the coat - make one without coat (maybe from other nation) so we see how you form a unit without a coat
Re: New infantry appearance.
@Stratego (dev) I do hate drawing legs, but well, I tried.

Re: New infantry appearance.
These aren't supposed to be units, just little prototypes I've made.
