Forbid Factories ANSWERED

Game setting that gets to decide if the players will be allowed to use factories, which usually aren't just built outright in a battle.

Technically it does reduce production rates, but it discourages the use of builders and technology advancements.

In this case the players will begin producing infantry if they have to invade, or workers if cavalry comes their way, or cavalry if infantry crowds their base.

Quite the opposite, now only thing people would use are workers, think about it lol

Build nothing but workers, for towers and catapults. If factories aren't around, the comparative value of a worker's production is actually higher.

Guys, It won't work if the other team drops in with light cavalry. Archers and fire archers are a good counter too, and they wont get 2+ range from blacksmith.

I don't know where this logic is coming from.
It takes 16 turns to make catapults worth building.
They can only build a tower in 4 turns.
Any player can reach them in a 20x20 map.

This is to create a match with reduced spaming.

I agree. Build 1-2 pike or archer. Then build all workers. if workers are the only things that can build other things then it is even more important to have those.

Produce a skirmisher and archers to break through the line. Then you can attack any workers that might be building catapults for ballista.

Then might as well as forbid workers in this gamemode

You realize:

4 workers = a tower per turn
= 2 walls a turn
= 1 fortress every other turn

that's just 4 of them
