SURVIVAL MODE

A new game mode. Players will start in the center of a really huge map with three workers, one swordsman, and an unoccupied city center. Hostile enemies are also present. Players must setup their defenses in a number of turns. Enemies will spawn at a certain turn, depending on the difficulty.

Three difficulties: Easy, Hard, and Genocide.

Easy mode: three random enemy groups will spawn at the 70th turn. Enemies are of basic level. Surviving one wave will reward one gem. As the player progresses, troop number increases by 3% each wave.


Hard mode: three or possibly four random enemy groups will spawn at the 60th turn. Enemies are of basic level. Surviving one wave will reward two gems. As the player progresses, troop number increases by 4% each wave.


Genocide mode: four random enemy groups will spawn at the 50th turn. Enemies are of max level. Surviving one wave will reward three gems. As the player progresses, troop number increases by 5% each wave.

Basic level archers, skirmishers, horse archer, knights, etc.

Max level- trebuchets, catapults, elephants, guard, templar, samurai, and other purchasable units.

Also in genocide mode, there's a possibility of a worker to spawn building an "outpost"

So what are outposts?

Its a structure that functions the same as the Town Center but takes a lot of turns to build, lower stats, and units and tech produced here would cost 50% more.

So what do you think? I may have missed some stuff.

Sounds complex, but interesting.

Please others give comment on thei, are you interested in this game type?

I love the idea but maybe we shoupd have a easy intermediate and diffucult mde each starting with diffrent units, and in easier modes harder soldiers come slower and in harder modes diffucult waves come faster

I thibk, there should be more maps, not only one survival map. Eg.: A mountain, a river a mixed a plain....

yes, these game modes(game types) are not like an individual campaign/mission map but this mode can be selected on any random (or multiplayer) map.

If so, all units must have have terrain bonuses such as archers having a +2% on forest tiles...

Great idea. Maybe put it in a colloseum/gladiator theme setting

This is similar to my proposal for a tower defense mode: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1596
